In order to improve comfort of use of the forums of Bridge Initiative, we worked out a small regulation. Any member of the forum is held to comply with these rules.
Operation of the forums of Bridge Initiative
- Each part of the site (general portal, dialogues) has a separated forum space, managed by the animator of this space, who chooses the forums categories.
- The forums are moderated afterhand, the animators - moderators can thus bring modifications to your messages, if some of the rules are violated.
- Acts of moderation by the animators - moderators (moving, suppression of whole or part of message)will as far as possible be explained by email. Be conscious that if ever one of your messages had been suddenly moderated without any explanation, that the moderators have a heavy agenda.
- If a disagreement opposes you with a forum moderator, we invîte you to expose your disagreement by email at web@bridge-initiative.org. Like you, we are only human beings and can sometimes explain us poorly.
Rules of use
- The forums are a place of exchange and sharing of information in which respect, kindness and courtesy are required. Any disagreement between members of the forum will have to be regulated by private email. In the same way, any private correspondence will also have to be held by email (messages of the type “You received my email? ”, for example, will be removed). Authors are fully responsible for the contents of their messages.
- Pay attention and read thoroughly the description of forums, in order to post your message in the right forum. Think of making a search before posting your message, perhaps that the subject of your message was already exposed by another member of the forums.
- Any message whose contents can be interpreted like shocking, discriminatory, racist, impolite, illegal (nonexhaustive list) is prohibited and will be edited or erased.
- Any use of the functionalities of the forums (drafting of messages, private messages, lists of members…) with commercial, political or religious purpose, advertising (nonexhaustive list) is prohibited.
- Any message containing private information (post or email addresses, telephone number…) will be edited or erased.
- Cross posting of a same subject on different forums is prohibited on the forums of Bridge Initiative.
- It is useless to push up constantly your messages, be patient, Bridge Initiative is based on a collective spirit and all the members, in particular the animators, will try to bring a response to your message.
- Look after the drafting of your messages. Choose a clear and explicit message title, look after the spelling and remain respectful and courteous (as indicated above). SMS style , more and more used on forums, is proscribed. fFor further information, read the netiquette.
We wish you to spend an excellent moment on the forums of Bridge Initiative.
